Take Off Procedure
Checklist
Step 1: Enter the aircraft
This step is very easy. Get into the aircraft in first person mode and wait 20 seconds for the engines to fire up.
Step 2: Ensure GROUND CTRL is engaged
It is essential that GROUND CTRL is always activated during a take off or landing procedure. Press G on your keyboard if GROUND CTRL is not lit up red.
It must always look like this during take off and landing.
Step 3: Disengage speed break
Press V on your keyboard to disengage the speed break. The plane will start to move slowly.
Step 4: Line up with the runway
Ensure the plane is lined up straight on the runway. Do not attempt to take off from a bumpy or short surface.
Step 5: Maximum throttle
Press and hold SPACE on your keyboard to turn the engine(s) up to maximum throttle. The plane will begin to move fast.
Step 6: Take off
Press the DOWN ARROW or S on your keyboard to pitch the nose up when the plane has reached the last 30 metres of the runway.
Step 7: Disengage GROUND CTRL
Press G on your keyboard turn off ground control.

Always take off and land in first person mode!
